From the Balkan to Rhodopes, these unknown massifs reveal the wonders of their landscapes. We discover the village of Septemvri, starting point of a charming narrow gauge railway, Belitsa Bear Park and the Orthodox monastery of Rila, a UNESCO heritage site.

Located in northern Bulgaria, the Balkan gave its name to the whole peninsula. In the south lie the alpine massif of the Rila Mountains and the very green one of Rhodopes. Not far from Sofia, Vratsa is a rock climbing paradise. To the west, the village of Septemvri is the starting point of a charming narrow gauge railway. Further, one can discover the bears park of Belitsa before reaching the Orthodox monastery of Rila, a UNESCO heritage site.
