  1. Hello,
I would like to get information about the Vihren Hut and talk to the keeper but on the first number the guy doesn’t speak English and the two other numbers don’t work. Any idea?
Basically I want to make sure that the hut will be open around October 20th and check how are the conditions up there.

Are you able to leave a car at the hut for a few days when hiking in the mountains? And if not, where is a good place to park for a several day trip?

  3. Hi! I was trying all of the numbers below to book the hut for july and nobody answered. Any tip how to book the hut? We would really love to stay there but I couldn´t find any way how to book it.

    • Summer conditions hike in the end of May/early June from the south side only. Considering you`ll still cross some snow fields – needs to be done with caution.

Want to climb Vihren this year (summer) and visit the hut, I will be in a small motorhome, is the road ok for a motorhome to get to the hut?

Also, if I wanted to go up, to the hut, the night before the walk and sleep near the hut, is this allowed/possible.

    • Hello Ian,
Yes, the road is a normal asphalt road and 16-18 seater buses reach the hut with no problem. It is allowed to park and sleep in front of the hut, there is also a campsite a bit below, near Bunderitsa Hut.

Is it no other way to reach the hut in February than walking 16 km from Bansko (road is closed you said)? I want to do ski touring on Hvoynati and would prefer to go by car for as long as possible. thanks!

Is it possible to walk to Koncheto Ridge on the first week of May or is there still snow at that period?

    Thank you

  15. is it possible to travel pirin trails without sleeping bags? just using the hut’s sheets and blankets?
and do we need to book a room or the huts are big enough and empty enough in the end of september?

    • Yes, except Tevno Hut, where they don`t provide sheets. Should be ok without reservation if you are not a big group. Advisable to call to the more easily accessible huts on Friday/Saturday evening as still could be full.

  16. hello, do you know if road to the hut is open during October? any phone number to make a reservation or email as there is no way to approach the team. thx

  17. Hello
