The Foal and the Marble Ridge

We offer a two-day trek through the main (also called Marble) ridge of Pirin Mountains, crossing its narrowest part – the famous Foal. The tour also includes the ascent of the highest peak in Pirin Mountains – Mount Vihren (2914 m). This is a challenging trek, and best suited to trekkers not afraid of heights, who are in very good physical condition, and have some hiking experience and proper equipment.

8-9 hours total, +1200/-1400m.8-9 hours total, +1200/-1400m. It is possible to spend the night in the hut or to descend for another 2 hours down to the paved road and take a ride back to Bansko – additional -500 m descent.
Mount Kutelo
Early morning start and walk along Mount Kutelo (2908 m).
The Foal
Walk to the Floal.
Marble Ridge
А walk further along to the Marble Ridge.
Yavorov Hut
Descent to Yavorov Hut at 1740 m.
