A 7-day top ski tour – the best of the Rila and Pirin Mountain ranges. We will spend 4 nights in Bansko – the busting ski town of Bulgaria, and we will do day tours to the most interesting areas with ski touring routes in both mountain ranges.
On the way back to Sofia, we will spend two nights in the foot of Rila National Park in order to ascend the most interesting mountains there – the top of the Balkans Mount Musala and the beautiful peak of Malyovitsa.
The best season for ski touring trips in Bulgaria is between February and April-May, depending on the conditions during the current year. We offer trips to Rila and Pirin Mountains which have the most suitable terrain for ski touring/ski mountaineering in the country. Further below you can find a sample program for a week-long ski trip in these mountain ranges.
